George is an extremely handsome Great Dane/Mastiff mix somewhere around 3-years-old, who plays like a much younger boy. Poor George was found tied up behind an abandoned warehouse sick and emaciated. After being rehabilitated by a local vet, he is now on the mend and happily living in a foster home with a Chihuahua. George is a sweet, well-behaved dog who weighs about 95 pounds currently, and is expected to reach 120-130 lbs. now that he is being well fed and housed. This smart boy is fully housetrained, and knows commands like Sit, Stay, Leave it, Paw, Lay down and Place. George is a typical Mastiff very loyal, with low energy level and a strong desire to please. George will make a wonderful addition to any family! Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information on George. See George at play in this adorable video!

Dash is a neutered 4 year old male Cane Corso. He was rescued by the NYPD from a situation of neglect. When he first arrived at the ASPCA he was very skittish and would run away when you attempted to pet him. That is how he got his name, Dash. He was always a sweet boy but at first he was very shy and it took time for him to trust people. He became very affectionate and playful once he understood people were there to help him. He began to become very playful and roll over on his back for belly rubs. Dash was also initially nervous to walk outside with all the noise and traffic of NYC. He had a dog friend who was more confident accompany him outside and soon he learned to love his walks. He likes other dogs but they have to be very mellow. Really rambunctious dogs scare him. Dash has lived in a foster home and settled right in. He loved playing fetch at the local park and lounging on the sofa with the cat he lived with. Yes he likes cats.

This sweet girl was found wandering around in Puerto Rico. Poor Nena was “discovered” by a kind woman with a big heart visiting from New York. There was just something about Nena (which means girl in Spanish). Her back leg is hurt (possibly from being hit by a car), and she is currently staying in a private residence… but only for a little while. If you have room in your heart and home, arrangements can be made to have Nena put on a flight to you. Please email email@example.com for more details about Nena.

Roxy is a one-year-old Pit Bull Terrier whose owner was incarcerated. She was left alone in the apartment, and her foster mom rescued her.
Roxy is very friendly toward people. She seems to be a little anxious around other dogs.

Chance is a handsome 8-10 year old purebred German Shepherd. Chance was rescued from a high kill shelter in South Carolina. He was extremely thin when he came to rescue but is all filled out now and so handsome! Chance is looking for a best friend to just hang out with in his golden years. He is still silly and playful but enjoys napping at your feet as well.
We feel that someone in his past was maybe not so kind to him:( He is friendly and sweet to all but a little shy around men and seems to gravitate more to woman. He is housebroken and crate trained(we leave his crate open and find him sleeping in there often:) Chance is interested in other dogs and would like to play but is lacking in social skills with his canine friends. We feel that he would do best in a home without other pets. Please give Chance the “second chance” he so deserves with a loving family.
Please contact Tammy at 908-433-1796 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more info on Chance.
